Do you have a friend or family member whose baby is due between June and July? You may want to choose the 4th of July as your baby shower theme. Finding your decorations in the red, white and blue theme is obviously an easy task in the summer time.
If you do not want to be restricted to the three colors of the American flag, it would be very pretty to use the colors from some beautiful fireworks in the night sky.
You may even want to schedule the party for the Fourth of July night and include whole families who can bring gifts and food and stay to watch your local city fireworks!
See who can list the most baby names made from the letters of the word “Firecracker”.
STAR SPANGLED BANNER REDO-
Challenge your guests to rewrite one of our national songs using words to welcome the new baby, or to prepare the new parents.
NAME ALL THE STATES-
Race to see who can name all the states of our union the fastest.
Your food for the party could be similar to Fourth of July picnic food, including small corn on the cobs, watermelon slices and potato salad. Some tiny slider hamburgers would be a cute continuation of the theme.
Of course you will not want to forget to use some fun sparklers in your decorations or on the cake! Have fun and God Bless America!
